Igor is the Head of the Administrative and Tax Law practice. He focuses on Ukrainian and international tax matters, primarily dealing with general tax advisory, tax administration and tax compliance, transactional tax, and tax dispute matters. He advises on the tax issues arising from private equity, corporate restructuring and reorganizations, greenfield investments, M&A, real estate and structured finance transactions.
Igor’s credentials include assisting a number of international and local clients with tax audits, primarily guiding them through challenging tax assessments both in administrative proceedings and in courts. He also provides legal support in criminal proceedings related to tax evasion.
He leads the team in client mandates on accompanying the process of obtaining, renewing or cancelling licenses and permits with state authorities, appealing of decisions and actions of state bodies.
Igor is a frequent contributor to media on the provisions of the national procedural legislation and tax novelties.
Igor has a significant experience in public administration and more than 10 years of representing interests of businesses and private investors in government bodies and courts.
