Sergii’s main areas of competence are international commercial and corporate law, natural resources and environment regulations, cross-border dispute resolution including litigation and enforcement, international arbitration.

He focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and equity investments in a broad range of industries, and also assists clients in general corporate matters, restructurings, employment and intellectual property law issues.

Sergii has experience in advising legal entities on all aspects of investment, asset structuring and recovery, regulatory compliance and public procurement within the energy infrastructure, oil & gas, power and related segments. In addition to legal advisory support to clients, Sergii has contributed much of his knowledge and experience to regulatory and law drafting.

Professional experience

Sergii joined Hillmont Partners after 4 years of providing both governmental and business institutions with better regulatory solutions in the energy-related industry. Prior to joining the firm, he was a legal counsellor at BRDO’s Energy Sector (Better Regulation Delivery Office). Sergii possesses legislative and draft law experience complimented with a vast background in complex corporate disputes.
