Vadym Halaichuk provided witness testimony for the High Court of Justice
On Thursday, Feb 1,2018, Partner of Hillmont Partners Vadym Halaichuk submitted witness testimony for the High Court of Justice, on the issues of Ukrainian law in a dispute involving Ukrainian and English individuals and companies.
The dispute aroused from business transactions which originated in Ukraine and become a subject of investigation by Ukrainian authorities.
Besides numerous issues which needed to be clarified due to difficulties with translating legal terminology, the issues of jurisdiction, enforcement of foreign court’s decision, cross – border criminal liability were analyzed to provide the court with relevant information.
