In Ukraine House Davos discussed investment attractiveness of Ukraine

Ukraine Davos Discussion Forum βUkraine: Fertile Ground for Responsible Investment?β Was held in Davos, Switzerland, on the impact of enterprises with foreign investment on the Ukrainian economy.

βWe discussed the challenges that face companies willing to invest in Ukraine, following the principles of responsible investment, in an environment where many others fail to comply. We have heard examples from the experience of foreign investors and how important it is for them to work with transparent and responsible local companies, β- comments Hillmont Partners partner James Hart, who moderated the discussion.
The participants on the panel noted significant regulatory progress in Ukraine, which helps businesses invest more responsibly and efficiently. βThe rule of law remains a key obstacle to investment increasing from abroad, but it was felt that the difficulties of doing business in Ukraine are often exaggerated. Summing up the conversation, I see some reason for optimismβ,-Β summarizes James Hart.
Victor Ivanchik (Astarta, Business100), John Patton (Argentem Π‘reek Partners), Alexey Goncharuk (BRDO), and Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Vashchuk participated in the discussion.
Recall Hillmont Partners is participating in events in Davos for the second year in a row. Last year, partners James Hart and Serhii Nyzhnyi participated in the Ukrainian Davos Nights β an event dedicated to investment opportunities in Ukraine.
