Valentyn Zasukha to co-moderate and speak at the Ukrainian Bar Association roundtable “Developments in Bankruptcy Law and Their Impact on Creditors’ Rights”
On 1 October 2026, Valentyn Zasukha, Senior Partner at Hillmont Partners and Head of the Ukrainian Bar Association‘s Committee on Banking, Financial and Insurance Law, will co-moderate the UBA roundtable “Developments in Bankruptcy Law and Their Impact on Creditors’ Rights”.
He will also speak on transaction structuring and documentation in light of recent case law.
The discussion will cover:
- creditor connectedness and hidden affiliation
- the Supreme Court’s approach to protecting creditors
- challenging fraudulent transactions and applying limitation periods
- the protection of secured creditors’ rights in bankruptcy proceedings
- legislative changes needed for effective preventive restructuring
