Andrii co-heads the firm’s International Dispute Resolution practice. He handles complex high-value cases and specialises in sophisticated litigation, commercial and investment arbitration, and regularly advises international tech companies and startups on a wide range of legal matters.

Andrii represents domestic and international clients in cross-border commercial disputes across various industries, including banking and finance, FMCG, aviation, retail, energy, infrastructure, real estate, FinTech and IT. His expertise includes local and foreign investors’ representation in complex corporate, tax and criminal proceedings, as well as regulatory advising on settling disputes with supervisory authorities.

He has vast experience in representing clients’ interests jointly with foreign counsel from England, Gibraltar, the U.S., Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Cyprus and Moldova. Andrii has hands-on experience in International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICAC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) arbitration and award enforcement proceedings. Relevant cases include Komaksavia Airport Invest Ltd. v. Republic of Moldova, SCC EA 2020/130 (Emergency Award on Interim Measures successfully granted).

Professional experience

Prior to joining Hillmont Partners, Andrii worked as a litigation lawyer in one the international law firms and as an Investigator at the Business Ombudsman Council, a consultative and advisory body under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, where he dealt with business complaints on unfair behaviour of governmental agencies and municipal authorities in Ukraine.
