Andrii Nyzhnyi is among the developers and teachers of the special course for judges within the framework of the Council of Europe Project “Support for judicial institutions and processes to strengthen access to justice in Ukraine”

Andrii Nyzhnyi, a co-managing partner at Hillmont Partners, head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice, participates in the meeting of the working group for the development of training courses “Application of the principle of legal certainty in administrative proceedings”

A series of lectures for judges of the administrative courts will be held by the National School of Judges of Ukraine together with the Council of Europe Project “Support for judicial institutions and processes to strengthen access to justice in Ukraine”.

On June 15, 2021, a meeting of the working group for the development of training courses was held with the assistance of the Administrative Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court, where a group of expert and future course participants agreed on the structure and thematic content of interactive lectures including solutions to practical cases and tasks.

The initiative takes place within the framework of the Council of Europe Projects “Support for judicial institutions and processes to strengthen access to justice in Ukraine”, in which Andrii Nyzhniy is involved as a national expert. The Department of Justice and Legal Cooperation of the Directorate General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe and the Supreme Court coordinate the Project.

The main goal of the project – support for the judicial authorities of Ukraine and promotion of the processes in order to ensure effective access to justice in line with the standards and recommendations of the Council of Europe. The Project timeframe is 2021-2022.
