Hillmont Partners is a Co-Organizer and Partner of the EBA Online Tax Development Programme
Valentyn Zasukha, Senior Partner at Hillmont Partners, joined as an expert in the development of the European Business Association (EBA) Online Tax Development Programme. A series of training events took place in January-February 2023 and brought together accountants, financial managers, and tax and legal advisors for thematic communication.
Valentyn Zasukha became a speaker at the module to focus on tax aspects of business relocation to Europe. In particular, they talked about tax peculiarities for companies of different ownership forms, aspects of source taxation, tax and legislative initiatives depending on the country of residence. Moreover, they discussed possible practical scenarios for Ukrainian entrepreneurs, namely creating a new company, opening a permanent representative office abroad or restructuring an existing business. . The Module is organized with the support of experts of the Berlin office of the consulting firm Mazars.
The EBA Tax Development Programme began in 2018 to help business owners and managers understand Ukrainian and foreign tax systems, learn all the intricacies of tax minimization and legal optimization methods, as well as tax structuring. The EBA updates its programme every year to comply with the current tax legislation.
