Litigation Practice of Hillmont Partners Secures a Double Win at Liga Zakon Awards 2020
On 26 November 2020, the online ceremony for Liga Zakon Awards 2020 took place. Hillmont Partners has won the accolade of “The Best Commercial Litigation Firm” award, and the firm’s Co-Managing Partner Serhii Nyzhnyi was recognized “The Best Commercial Litigation Lawyer”. Both accolades were given within the national league.
In addition to this, Hillmont Partners and Serhii Nyzhnyi were shortlisted for national firm-wide and individual accolades in the bankruptcy and restructuring practice category. Both the firm and Associate Partner Taras Tertychnyi, were also shortlisted for national awards for corporate law practice.
The methodology of the ranking stipulates that the Liga Zakon Awards research team makes an independent assessment of law firms and individual lawyers on an annual basis, gauges their core competencies and rewards achievements during the past year. The research process includes a data-smart analysis of the nominees and takes into account the jury’s assessment of the submissions provided by the nominees. The jury includes in-house counsel from leading companies, judges, as well as representatives of government agencies and leading law schools.
