Valentyn Zasukha elected Chairman of the Ukrainian Bar Association Committee on Banking, Finance and Insurance Law
Valentyn Zasukha, Senior Partner at Hillmont Partners and Head of the firm’s Banking and Finance and Corporate Law and M&A practices, has been elected Chairman of the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) Banking, Finance and Insurance Law Committee for 2026–2027.
The UBA Management Board approved Valentyn’s election based on the results of an electronic vote by the Committee Members.
Valentyn has extensive experience in corporate governance and regulatory matters in the banking and financial services sector and advises on cross-border investments, corporate finance, and restructurings. He aims to further develop the Committee through close cooperation with banking and finance lawyers, both in-house in the financial sector and as external legal counsel.
Under Valentyn’s leadership, the UBA Banking, Financial and Insurance Law Committee will serve as a professional hub providing effective legal support to the financial, banking, and insurance sectors. It’s focus will remain on contributing to the stability of Ukraine’s banking system and helping market participants adapt to regulatory and legislative changes.
